Epilogue Post

The first thing that I found very interesting to read about was how big an impact Bruce Springsteen had in the Rock N’ Roll era.  I found it really fascinating how his life was changed by Rock N’ Roll.  How he had a strict father at home and authoritarian nuns at school.  All of these things in his life made him a loner until he saw Elvis on the Ed Sullivan show.  After that he told himself that he had to get a guitar and start playing music.  I really think that it’s a fascinating story how Bruce Springsteen got involved with Rock N’ Roll and kept making an impact in music later on in life.

Another thing that surprised me was that some Rock N’ Roll artists or music artists did benefit concerts in Vietnam despite the fact that most people were opposed to the Vietnam War.  Or that people in politics like Jimmy Carter invited people like the Allman Brothers to the white house to play concerts.  That is really something crazy to think about.  I wish Obama would invite Linkin Park or Nickleback to the White House once in a while.
